I think he is taking about the inlet hose to the RWP nipple. Sometimes, the inlet hose is larger than the RWP nipple by 1/4" or so. If this is the case, most people use clear vinyl hose as a spacer which effectively enlarges the RWP nipple to fit the inlet hose ID.

there is suppose to be an o-ring that seals the unit not form-a-gasket. You should pay attention to things when you take them apart.

no i got a little on my finger and put a nice bead around the whole seal

hey guys,
got me another question.my 89 ski nautiques impeller seal with the hose was bad.it was snaggin air causin the impeller to not function right therefore the temp gauge would peg cause the block wasnt gettin any water.so we put a bead of silicon round it and it did the job rite nice.so what im askin is should i keep tryin my look w/ this silicon seal or is there somethin else i can do?
