Don't have any overall engine photos. The risers fit under the stock doghouse with some cuts to the inside doghouse fiberglass (no modifications visible from outside). The boat is shrink wrapped for the winter, so will have to wait until spring for more photos.

Chris,
Thanks for the picture. Northeast sounds like an engine rebuilder and not the marinizer. Do you have a picture of the engine? |

Northeast Ford Engines appears to be the distributor or marinizer. They are out of business. It's reverse rotation, right hand prop on the boat (351R = reverse, I assume)

Chris, Who's the marinizer of the 351 and what rotation is it? |

Thanks Pete. I believe I am the third owner of this boat.
Previous owner was told that the original owner forgot to winterize it at some point in the 70s, and the original 289 cracked. It was replaced with the 351W that's in the boat now. Would be interesting to confirm whatever info CC has on file - I'll try emailing them. |

Cris,
In a 68 Mustang, the common engine would have been a Ford/Interceptor 289. Here's the brochure if you haven't found it yet. |

Chris, Some have tried and gotten results but others haven't. I sometimes feel CC doesn't care about us with older boats! |

Thanks Pete. Does anyone have access to the older build sheets for these boats? Can I email CC?

Chris,
There isn't any decoding that can be done since that is not a HIN. It's simply a serial number that CC used before the early 70's when HIN's were started. |

Purchased a '68 Mustang this past fall. Would be interested to know the original motor, color, or any other info available. HIN is M 2296. Thanks!
