I remember my old manifolds were like the one’s Keno posted. I remember that they had stickers on the raised lettering :)

Here's a link to a thread with some pictures from a few years ago. .

Here's one picture from that thread. Old original on the left, new from Nautiqueparts on the right with PCM cast in the corners

Flyweed bought new 351 PCM  manifolds that didn't have the raised lettering from Nautiqueparts. They did say PCM on them and they had 2 plugs like Don mentions.

NP told him it was from a new different supplier  The PCM is cast into them

Later in the same thread, Tomahawk bought the same thing too.

Hey Tim,
You're right, it is an Osco.  I guess I wasn't paying attention.

Thanks

Got a pic? Have never seen a pcm manifold with core plugs like you describe, GT40’s included. Sounds like an osco or Barr replacement?

Thanks Tim.

I figured GT-40 would be enough.  It's a PCM 5.8 late 90's vintage. Manifold is an RO28001

I believe I've found a Melling MEP-10B that should work.

I'll report back tomorrow.

Thanks,
Don

Might want to mention what brand of manifold… doesn’t sound like a PCM.

Hi,
Does anyone have the part number for the core plugs on the outside of the exhaust manifolds on a GT-40 engine?
There are 2 of them on each manifold.
They measure appx 1.125" and I can find them in that dimension.  From what I've read they are placed in the hole against a shoulder and then you dimple the convex side.  Do I order the exact size on the opening?

Thanks, Don
