WOW! I thought this thred was dead.....

Anyway. I had problems with my raw water pump and went to WCCC (West Coast CC) and tried to get a OMC replacement. Ha ha ha.

What they ended up finding was a crankshaft mounted pump that works great. I have been running it for a year and no problems. it also has replacement parts available. I can get the partnumber if needed. the only down side is that you have to do some tricky hose routing to make it work. I can send pictures of my solution. it took a few 90's and a few hose clamps to make it work. I didn't want to have the chance of kinking the hose on accelerations.

timmy My E-mail is in my profile. Let me get the boat home and see what I need to do the conversion. I only had the boat home this fall for a day before it went into storage, so I am not sure what all I am going to need?

I just purchased a 1978 Cuddy Nautique in the fall with an OMC 350. The boat presently is in storage, however I was planning on replacing the raw water pump with a crankshaft mounted pump. I believe the original OMC pump is in good condition and I would be willing to sell. Problem is, I won't get the boat home for another 3 weeks The raw water pump looks like it came off a washing machine ???

Hey, I just bought a 1976 Ski Nautique, and I have problem getting parts for the engine. Does any one know where a good place to get parts? I have an old OMC 350. Also does any one have electrical drawings for the old 76ish boats?
