Paul,
Isn't the weather here great this weekend? Scheduling things in for us is a little tough, as you know right now. Kinda' winging it and trying to appreciate the time we have to enjoy together. The weather is going to get just a little cooler again during the week. Mustang will be weeknights this week. As I have Blink to myself this weekend.

Pete,
No vacation. You must be thinking about Moj'. Blink did the bottom paint and buffed the bottom half of the Carver. He took Thursday and Friday off to work on the big boat. So, the Carver went in on Friday night. I spent yesterday cleaning the topside. Today I will buff the Carver almost in the buff because the weather is great.

No worries guys, the Mustang is coming along. I saw an "almost" yuckytan boat on the river yesterday. We HAD" to take the 94 out for a ride, you know...just to make sure everything was ok. It's really fast! I like it, but I still love the 82! Difference in the "sound" almost like a Harley and a Honda. Wait till the Mustang is in the water. I won't know which one to take out. Eeny Meeny Miney Moe!

Blink is threating posting photo's. He took his camera along yesterday. So, I'm taking mine today. Need some ammo.

Won't be much longer, for a Mustang update as I can't wait to see it more than you!

Michelle

I saw that, it matches you. Shoaf jumped in. We sat on the platform and relaxed. Still a little cold for me. Went to the beach, to Jeffrey's, stopped over and visited Paul and Judy. They were heading up to Pgh for the MS walk. They were spending the night at Station Square. Was surprised Randy and Sue weren't around.

Mike,
I can't wait either!

Steve,
Sanding with the DA is easy. The hand sanding is a little more time consuming. It'll be worth it though.

Thanks Guys!

Bruce,
I received the measurements. WOW! Thanks alot. They are very detailed and they'll be a great help. I'll let you know how it goes. Step 3!

Micheal,
It sure is looking great from what I can see in the pictures. When you flip it and do the deck, it will be easy!!

Any spots that you've sanded through to the old? That's always tough because it hard to tell if you have a thin area in the gel or how far you sand. A tint change is the only indication and sometimes that doesn't show up until buffing. Really hard on same color gel jobs!!

Hi Guys!!! I'm still here. :) OK, update on the Yuckytan Mustang? Straight to the point; all sanded. Lesson learned is use the solid gel first for coverage if there are any repair areas. Hmmm, so that means a few more coats of gel. Still undecided on how to take care of this. What do you think? One coat of solid white and then my Yuckytan over? Or two to three more coats of the yuckytan? Thought about trying to match yuckytan using the white base, but that's not going to work. Garage work will begin the beginning of January. A few of you know how busy we've been and what all has been happening...such is life. And life is good. This little mustang will - I repeat - will get done. Definitley not on the timeline I wished for and definitley not as easily as planned OR as cost effective. If you knew me, you would know that I can't seem to find the clear path in life. I tend to think I choose the paths I need to clear so I can learn something new every day and help to clear the paths for those behind me. Good to be back!!! I missed you all!
