I started my southwind today and I think that the boat upholestry shop messed it up when they removed or reinstalled it. The warm up knob does not pull out now and it is a little tough to get into reverse. Any tips on the adjustment or what to look for? Thanks

DO you have padded coaming pads? Did they replace them? If so the bolts that hold the Morse control may need to be snugged up some as the levers may be binding on the backside.

When I replaced my interior I went with a 1/2" thicker foam for the coaming pads and had a little trouble with exactly this. Just try socking those threee bolts down a little and see if that helps.
You can’t change the wind but you can adjust your sails

I checked it out and one of the screws on the back of the morse control was not tightened! I will try to get to it tomorrow with a 1/4 drive ratchet and socket. Is there an easy way to remove then coaming pad to acess the screws easier?? Thanks!
