Think I can get a few more years out of this one????

I have a replacement on the way, but this still pumped water. Bet it wouldn't of worked much longer. Even the fins that are still one piece are cracked at the base.

When I bought my boat from the PO there was no round pieces left on the end of the impeller basically the outside half each impeller blade was missing. It still was cooling, Kind of amazing.

I wouldnt take the chance on that impellar. A cheep part could put you in danager at any point in time next yr. I would change it, espcially if the some of the teeth are missing..

Maybe you can use it as a hockey puck for a few years . . .

one misconception on these rubber type impellers is even if all the blades are intact you may still get an overheat situation, water doesnt compress so at times the blades will bend when they lose their elasticity and will by-pass water... Im like Pete, no problem, run it. but i just thought i would throw that bit of info out there

They are really missing pieces, as I can't find any of them. I guess they just were chewed up and passed through the system. If that's not the case they are probably hung up in the cooling system somewhere, but there's no way to know, or get them out. I will pull off the hoses and look for them there.

Check all the lines above the RWP. Also check the thermostat housing.
