20 Boats!

So am I the onloy one who doesn't know everybody?

Somehow I think I ended up on the list twice...
Also, I'm not very bright sometimes, so I'm having a hard time keeping count of all the boats...I see a lot of people have their campsite listed beside their name, if everyone fills in their ride too it might be easier to keep track. I updated me and my dad.

And I don't know everybody either, probably about a third. If we could get 20 boats that would be awesome!

You mean to say Joe that with all those projects and parts you have you can't piece together some sort of Frankenboat to get you through till the 83 finds its way home?

just tandem tow the frankenboat to white lake behind the 83, then ship it to nashville. Problem solved! haha

Joe,
There's plenty of room to boat with us all there. Besides, what a better way to get to know someone....??? Hint: it starts with a cooler full of cold beverages hahaha... Can't wait to see you there..

For those of you who are interested in taking in downtown Broadway St. on Sat night, perhaps we can work on the logistics of getting an "airport" type shuttle bus to drive us there and back. Not sure of the cost, but it would be a great way to go after getting hammered while watching Reid sing "Don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys" in the Honky Tonks hahaha...

Anyway, think about it. it would be cheap and safe.....

Which anchor should I bring? Anyone know the lake bottom?

Priest is primarily mud, but does have some rocky areas. I've found a danforth holds better than a 'shroom.

Thanks George, sounds like we'll be anchoring off of an small island as mentioned before. Is it "ruin your upholstery" kinda mud?

I've not had any problem with the mud, but I'm anal about bringing it into the boat. The island is in a channel location, typically associated with boat traffic. You may want to consider 2 anchors!

If the water temperature there is anything like the other lakes in Tennessee, it will probably be mid 80's. If this warm trend continues it may be high 80's.

As for the boat list...since I'm bringing the wife I guess we'll have to bring "her" '95.
It has more built in beverage cooler's than the '85.

It should be refreshing mid 80's, unless we get any significant showers beforehand. Sleeves can be comfortable. The Corp of Engineers runs a website for J Percy Priest Lake with current info: www.lrn.usace.army.mil/pao/lakeinfo/lakeinfo/JPP.htm.

Far as I can tell from this thread, here is the layout of the campgound...we need somebody to take site 17 in a bad way, cause if some poor unsuspecting family grabs that for fathers day, they're either going to have the best or worst holiday of their lives...probably the latter.

Edit: taking all the blank space out of the image...apparently I'm no good at posting pictures when I've been drinking...

I do believe only sites 1-10 will have power. The rest of the sites are primitive....

Wholly crap, I see Quinner's making the drive.. Yep, and you all thought the skunk smell was a potential hazard down there.... Doh'

Holy crap!! 17 is right between quinner and adam! Thats like the perfect storm. Whoever goes there better hide their women! It will be like fending off the mongolian horde. Maybe we should just reserve it as a space for the empty beer bottles.
