I need the rubber "hose" part for the rear mount on a Ski Tique. It is 5/8" ID, 1-1/8" OD. Ben |

Ben,
Be a little more descriptive on the part needed. Is this the rubber bushing on the engine mount? If so, why only one and not all four? Have you ever checked the alignment?? If you replace all four, rubber bushings can be had at McMaster. |

Ben,
Here's a link to some bushings. They are down the page about 1/4 of the way. See if they match up to what you need. BTW, I see you were on site this morning. Nothing to add regarding your specific needs? What about that alignment? I asked since if out, it could put more pressure on one of the mounts. |

Interesting, sorry for the thread-jack but could misalignment be the reason my tique has a broken transmission mount? |

I didnt mention that the shaft is not bolted up to the output shaft. I am still in the process of getting the engine going with the new camshaft. Im just about ready to start it. Yes the rubber bushing on the left rear mount is missing which throws off the alignment which I will be tackling soon. I didnt see anything on that website that resembled the bushing. It is quite basically a rubber tube that is .625" ID, 1.125" OD. I dont recall how long. Maybe an inch or inch and a half. I will take a closer look at the rest of the bushings when I get out to the boat today and report back.
Thanks! -Ben |

Graham, The possibilities are high but I'd say the bad condition of your stringers are a likely better cause of the broken mount. |

This is the rubber bushing Im looking for. 0.625" ID, 1.125" OD, maybe 1" long. Also found out my starter is bad.

Thanks Pete, although not the answer I was hoping for! I was under the impression that as I had no damage to the exterior gelcoat on either engine side, it's mounted on a cradle and the cradle bolts are still 'grabbing' to the stringers, I should be ok for a full season on the water next year before tackling a stringer replacement job. By the sound of things now I'm not so sure |
