You posed a similar question here:
http://correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=33555 and I asked:
We need a little bit of a sense of how your dash wiring works and it is set up when it is working, you dig? My guess is that there's a correlation between your blower and bilge not working and your engine not firing. If you're blower and bilge normally only work with the ignition turned on... well, your engine needs the ignition turned on too. If the blower and bilge will normally run without the key on, it's unrelated. Unless there's a common fuse or connection somewhere. |

Brian, something isn't right with the whole set up....you know that NOTHING should work unless the ignition breaker is pushed in.

That's a good point Tim.
I wasn't sure what year they added that dash push button breaker. Most of the early ones just had the key only, right? But if your 88 has the push-button breaker (like mine) then the Original Poster's should too. |

6.7 is a big dropoff. Do you know what you have at your pushbutton breaker?

Is the 6.7 on the battery side or the load side? Trace it and see where the loss is. Could be just a bad ignition switch. |
