I took a computer punch card class in college and a DOS class in the 80's.
A bit rusty but a quick learner, you hiring?

BTW: Never mind my previous "financial windfall" post. After a quick discussion here i was told, in no uncertain terms, "hope you can tie up your new boat....by yourself. ....

I lost a decent client today so feeling the money stress today. Still a small startup. Me, myself and I at the moment. It always seems to work out in some magical way. You can certainly tie up the boat by yourself but skiing and driving it might be tricky.    But maybe you can adapt this thing onto your boat.

If you put a GI Joe in that thing wonder if it would qualify as an observer.

Definitive is not possible with a picture like that.......... Looks like a Maine Coon cat skull to me. Teeth are wrong for rodent or porcine. Ears carriage and placement are incorrect for canidae. Likely a big, long-nosed cat .... (could also be small bobcat since you guys like the exotic.... don't know what Bobcat-like cats you have around there.....)

HA! Ok, so cat family makes most since to me, since Jeff (OP) said it was also stinky it probably was fairly old and is a good reason why so much fur is missing. I bet they have Bobcats in GA!

Headed to Germanfest tonight in Milwaukee, so I will have to keep a close look out for the Lion Roaming the streets in Milwaukee

Brian,
No, that's just a HW look alike. HW won't travel that far north in Wisconsin because they don't import Coors lite that far and he doesn't like Leinenkugel

Jeff, I think you are overlooking the big concern. There was some other creature in your back yard that was able to tear the head off the fanged mutant you found. YIKES!!!!
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Yes that occurred to me..
.
A while back my drinking buddy across the street had a coyote in his backyard. He ran after it with a machete and it leaped/cleared his tall fence in a single jump. Not something I would have done but he's an ex-French Foreign Legion sniper so pretty crazy. (also a former multi-national European special forces Muy Thai kickboxing Champion, good friend to have ha ha)

So I'd guess it was a coyote, or airmail from a passing bird of prey.

My guess:   the cat was killed by a chupacabra who dropped it in the dumpster behind the chinese buffet, then found by a raccoon who then dragged it to Jeff's back yard.

That kinda ties in with Dr CCs theory but he's German not Chinese. ...

DrCC: plausible theory but I haven't seen a racoon since I left CT 17 years ago. See a lotta armadillos but usually only sleeping on their backs on the side of the road ha ha    (only southern fans would get that one....)

Latest theory from Milwaukee radio.....Someone put a lions mask on a Bull Mastiff, and let ole Fido roam the neighborhood. Pretty creative!
