It's about 5 minutes to walk and I need the exercise. Gotta get I. Shape for ski season after all we will soon have a real course on Deep Lake.

Seriously! Shoeless Joes is a quick walk fercrisakes! It's a .0.3 mile walk-- 5-6 minutes. If I'm being chased by Tubing Zombies I could run it in 2 minutes.

I've been trying to get the resort to paint them brighter colors so I don' t miss any "buoys". The fisherman who rent them tend to dress in cammo or drab colors making them very hard to spot. Someday, somebody is going to get run over. Seriously. |

It would be great to see old friends, make new ones and hydrate! My scheduling staff tells me the moving van is being packed up Wednesday night (they need my power, strength, and stamina) but I can sneak away from the family and moving chores Thursday pm. Pete: Daughter and Son-in-law are graduating from Moody Bible Institute Downtown and heading to Trinity Evang Div School in Deerfield, Il. for Double Masters Programs. They are smarty-pants- I am just the muscle (which is really sad). They'll be there 4 years. Steph is a sneaky smooth slalom skier, maybe she could get a pull or two from the Chicago area guys. Plus someone to watch out for them - those divinity school scholars need some life-savvy big brothers!

Steve - PLEASE give her my name and number - we are a quick 30 minutes from Deerfield, and always welcome a "guest" daughter at our house. With Syd (my oldest) off at Marquette, We have had the opportunity to "adopt" a couple more "daughters" from MU, we love to have them come to our house for a quick home-cooked meal. Of course we can let her know too when the family is headed to the lake, so she can get a few turns in too. I will try to get out with you guys, but I have a big deal in OH, that is close to contract and I am going to have to be over there, just not sure on the days yet. |
