The reason the crowd left was in some cases train schedule related. A couple of hours is still worth it if that’s all we get. I get a real kick out of these things for some reason.

I will make the alternate proposal the 15th or 16th at the Broken Oar. Schaumburg takes an hour for us up Northerners at later afternoon time.

I'll do the broken oar but Shoeless Joes is still more central The Oar will take me almost 1.5 hours to get home, Hell I'll have to stop for another beer half way home. |

OK guys. Tonight, Broken Oar. Be there or..... just sayin'
I am driving with HW and Quinner arriving close to 6:15 if and only if the guys show up here to take advantage of a designated driver-- a questionable role at best. |

I'm going to skip the Oar this time around, there's just no good way home from there for me.

Alan, your next project should be a helicopter. I think it would improve your
Mobility. Stay away from any wooden helicopters! |

Actually stay away from helicopters, fly airplanes, that way your whole life and safety doesn't depend on the failure of one of about a million cotter pins... (I am sure Gun-driver will disagree...)

As an A and P mechanic, I never liked the term “Jesus Nut” but having flown an old Hiller 2 seat chopper I appreciate it at least in concept. Damn those things are primitive but very fun to operate!

The Oar sucks as a location easily reached by all. Lets go back to Shoeless Joes.

Yeah somewhere else or back to shoeless hoe's. Looking at a map even something in Barrington might not be bad. In between the majority of us

You guys crack me up.. The Oar is in Barrington... That doesn't help many in the group.. Go back to the OHare highway corridor so anyone can get the chance to use major highways to get there.

Mojo—not so fast! Port Barrington isn’t Barrington, nor is South Barrington or Barrington Hills (which is in Kane, Lake, Cook and McHenry counties).
I know —-it’s advanced geography, but I get the point. I’m game for wherever we decide to gather. |
