My 98 GT40 used to have a heater installed. Previous owner disconnected it and I don't plan to use it either. My question is there is a hose running from a T with a temp sender down to the block drain hole on the side of the engine. Can this hose be disconnected and the T plugged or removed ant eh sender just mounted in the elbow feeding the T. I want to install the drain valves discussed in an earlier thread this week. Its a pain dealing with this hose when draining the block.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Yup, you can plug the holes. The tee can be removed entirely and the temp sender returned to the intake manifold.

Whaaaaat, Minnesota and you don't want the heater. Heck I used mine this past weekend to warm my feet and my daughter was wrapped in a towel with the hose feed underneath.
Best option available.

Yeah, heater is the best.
