Working on a 96 gt40 starter solenoid. I can’t find a good wiring diagram to see how to hook it up. There’s two brown wires and don’t know where they go. Any ideas please

What do the other ends of these brown wires go to? What posts are they connected to on the start relay?

Why do you have a picture on PN showing the solenoid with the wires hooked up to it?

What's that picture trying to say?

Why not put the same picture here?

Sorry I thought I uploaded the pic on here also. I’ll add it. Working on a friends boat that he just got. Came with a bad solenoid and just trying to make sure the wires are correct. I tired to match up to my 95’ but I don’t have the extra wires

If you go to the link below and look at page MT16, you'll find a diagram showing the solenoid wiring that should work.
.
And make sure the solenoid is bolted to the engine to ground it otherwise things won't work
