Does anyone know the actual weight of a 76 SN? I’m admiring a used Floe lift if it’s strong enough to hoist mine. (With a couple people, fuel and some equipment)
Thanks much.

Looking at the remaining brochures a ‘ 74 weighs 2100 lbs and an ‘80 weighs 2100lbs, so I would guess that you could that number for yours and be in the ballpark.

Please remember you could have 100's of extra pounds of wet foam in the boat since it is a 76 model. I would add a few hundred.

Jim, you need at a minimum a 2500 lb lift when you factor in fuel and gear, as you mentioned…3000 if you’re going to hoist with people on board. This isn’t factoring the possibility of the wet foam that Gun mentioned. If you’re hoisting using a lift at its limit, you’ll go through cables.

This chart has helped me out many times over the years.  Not sure where I acquired it.......most likely from the site.

fair enough.
the cool thing is the foam in the belly is bone dry....I just had stringers /floor / paint done last winter, and working on motor rebuild now. even had the trailer restored.
guys, this boat is going to be stunningly beautiful! I can't wait until I get it on the water---presumably next summer.
appreciate the replies. I'm afraid w/ a dude or two in it I might be taxing this lift.

Can’t you get the people out of the boat before you raise it ?

3k would get the job done but I wouldn’t go any lighter than that. 3500-4k lb lifts will do the job more comfortably and have a bit more margin and/or room for growth.
