Does anyone out there have a good used or new raw water pump for a 318 Chrysler?  I do not think there are manufactured any longer.  Thanks.

I see couple on eBay $600. I’ve seen in past for $400
But if you have the 2 halves of brass body
You can rebuild entire unit with every component for 175 (quality kit)
Kit has bearing, seals, impeller, rear bushing
Tip, there is a brass washer that goes in cavity first before spring seal, very important

The pump I have has a slow drip.  Where would you get the rebuild kit from?

I’ve used 2 kits and rebuilt brass body D-65 double pockets
Very nice kit high quality pieces, USA made
I found a old core on eBay $75 rebuilt it works flawlessly. Pay attention to detail and all surfaces smooth

You may want to be more specific on the year, or reference the pump by its number (or post a pic). Chrysler used a few different ones.

Good point. I have and refer to the d60 d65 double pocket with 1” in/out and 5/8 shaft. Number should be stamped on pump under pulley where shaft exits

This is the only pump I have ever dealt with for the 318.  It uses the Sherwood 09959-K impellers.  This one is working but has a small drip off the front half of the pump.

This engine is out of a 1972 Ski Nautique.  I do not have the pump in hand to check the number.

Wow. Your pump and engine look super clean and nice
Yes your impeller numbers are correct 9959. Kit comes with those too
Sounds like you have a d-65 Sherwood pump.
Good luck

This is a fresh engine.  Reman Jasper long block.  Previous block was bad.
Orange 72 Promo being rebuilt too.  This is the same engine I had in my 71 Ski Nautique.
