I logged into my account to make sure it had been paid and I had forgotten it was auto pay. In any event, I took a look at the details:
SkiSafe, underwritten by Axis. $425 annually. 25,000 agreed boat value, 5k agreed trailer value. 28 year old boat and trailer. 7k coverage eng, trans, running gear, etc... 2.5k personal property/equipment. Freeze coverage 25k liability/medical limits. Inland waters only. That is the bulk of it. Other coverages, such as towing and such, are with BoatUS. OD.

For my 1987 Ski Nautique, we have had Progressive insurance with
300K Bodily injury & Property Damage Liability 997K Fuel and Oil Spill (per occurrence) 300K Uninsured Boater 10K Medical Payments (each person) $0 deductibles for Comprehensive and Collision $2000 Replacement Cost Personal Effects w/ $250 deductible Physical Damage option is Agreed Value (although I don’t know what the agreed value is) For these coverages, I paid $235.00 for the year which I think is fair. The boat was bought and has lived on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut it’s whole life. Regards Roy |
