safety topic

In my opinion boater licensing should be mandatory particularly with the PWC's. When I was around 12yrs old my Dad put me and my brothers through a power squadron boaters safety course, really learned a lot and the bonus was I was then able to operate the boat by myself.
Regarding the weighted boat issue and creating huge wakes I would guess many of those doing that do not even realize they are responsible for any damage their wake may cause should it occur. More times then not the riders behind those loaded boats can barely do any decent tricks anyways so what is the point, my feeling is use what you got as most decent riders can do a tantrum without a wake anyways.

How about how to handle gas when changing out a tank? A friend ask me to help him a couple of weeks ago. He has a Wildcat that he had removed the gas tank and was ready to replace it. He had drained about 25 gals of gas into a trash can and had it sitting next to the boat with a lid on it. Seemed like a bomb to me. I didn't stay around very long.

Aemmer, it's not. Luckily they don't last long and upgrade to a new v-drive financing it out to the max parked outside their apartment complex.
