The rwp is on the starboard side. It has been painted. It appears that it was originally a pastel yellow color.

With the RWP on the side then Tim is correct that it's an Interceptor.

The yellow color was almost the standard. Not too many other colors out there. A few white and one baby blue that I know of.

This is still my favorite Torino. One of my all time favorite CC's. Just has a classy look to it. I love what he did with the dash.

Yes, Scott did a great job with that one. Unfortunately he gave up working on boats for medical reasons and dropped off that site. That boat showed up on here a few years later (a couple years ago). A guy somewhere in NC picked it up and was asking about some motor issues. He didnt stay around long, either, unfortunately.

I really like this red one tho. Really stands out. Did I read that right....$700? Another WOW.

Yeah, you read correctly $700. I got the "coworker" price. It's been sitting for six or seven years. The owner wanted it out of his morton building so he had more room for hay. We're in a drought in my neck of the woods right now so the price of hay is sky-rocketing because it's not growing any more. The trailer is a home-made booger-welded junker that'll need replaced sooner rather than later but the boat is really nice for the price. I figured I couldn't go wrong. Almost cheap enough to "flip" and make some money on it. I think I'll hang on to it though, it's got character. Connorssons, thanks for the support. I'll definitely give you a ring if I run into anything that stumps me. I'm handy with a wrench but I'd like to know more about the "interceptor" power package. Is there any information floating around out there?

It's not really worth saving. It'll do for now but I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for something more suitable. The guy used what appears to be an Olds Toranado axle under it. It's laughable really. I do a lot of fab work at home and I'm prerty sure I could teach my 2 year old to lay a better bead than anything on this trailer.

Can anyone translate the USCG fuel line requirements for me? Can I run regular rubber line from the fuel filter to the pump then the USCG approved stuff from the pump to carb or do I need to plumb the whole thing with something special? It's making sounds suspiciously similar to internal combustion tonight so I'm ready to re-plumb the fuel system but want to make sure it's done correctly. Also, where do I get said USCG approved line. Thanks!

I always recommend hard line from the pump to the carb. Pre flared brake line is the way to go.

On the low presure side I'd still go with A1 rated. Your local auto supply should have it.

Well, it's been a long few weeks but it finally ran on it's own tonight. Replaced all the guages except the speedo, re-wired the dash, ran new hard fuel lines along with a new fuel filter assy, pumped out the fuel tank and replaced the sending unit, converted to electronic ignition, installed my trusty Edelbrock 1405, fixed a bunch of electric problems and with a little coaxing it ran tonight. I didn't like how the voltage regulator, choke and coil were run off of one 14-ish gauge wire so I mounted a relay on the plate that holds the starter relay and ran everything through that. It's not charging, but has good oil pressure. Needs some tuning which I expected. I noticed that the trans was dragging a little which I assume is normal. Turned really slowly at idle, only ran for about 30 seconds. While it was turning I noticed that the prop shaft appears to be tweaked a little. Is there any way to straighten it? It's not bad, but I bet it'll vibrate. I'm pretty close to getting it on the water. I've got to get new seats/swivels installed and get the new CD player wired up and figure out why it's not charging. The stringers and foam around the tank are in pretty poor shape but they'll do for now. The engine and v-drive seem solid so I'm going to run it for now. The P.O. was a cobbling SOB. I spent more time cutting out garbage wiring than on anything else, it was a mess. I'm thinking of doing carpet while the seats are out. Any suggestions? The stuff that's in there smells like urine? I assume from rodents.
