Tim's spot on.....so perhaps the last oil change was at the 1000 hrs on the old hour meter...That's exciting!

The only thing I can order for replacement VDO boats these days is Faria. We can still get the teleflex white face black bezel gauges like in my dad's new 98.

The guy bought it from a friend who needed money. I think he thinks its a true 500 hour boat. The condition of the boat would be believeable for a 500 hour Florida boat but the motor tells the tale. Lots of paint coming off/rust. Nothing a good cleaning and repaint couldnt fix but I'm betting the thing has closer to 1500 hours on it. Would still like to own it. Could freshen it up. All the fluids were nasty.

I'll build my own if that were the case Brett ;).
Too bad nobody maranizes the 390 Hp Hemi in my truck. The low end torque with the VVT would make a ski boat a boss. |
