If you're local to the area, then you are probably familiar with the place that's selling that boat... I worked in the industry locally from 2005-2013 and still live locally. I'll share my opinion if you like, but it seems like others here have steered you away from that particular boat anyway, which I agree with.
You can do a lot better for the money. You can do better for HALF the money, in my opinion. A friend had a '66 Barracuda that was in good shape, not amazing but functional; he sold it a few years back for $4k. I did love driving that boat, as long as it wasn't too choppy haha. It sounded amazing and was a real head-turner, but without the whole world of being a wooden boat. I loved it. Good luck in your search. |
