Fridays in December would be difficult for me. I'd have a better shot if it was mid-week.

If not, January should be a little more open.

Well, 17th or 18th - maybe.
I'd consider Sunday the 28th in the afternoon. Catch a football game out of one eye, maybe?

New location...Brat Stop, anyone? hahaha...

There's a huge bar out on Willow and Landwehr or Pflingsten. Don't know what the name of it. Pete, it's out East of 294 on Willow. Do you know where I'm talking about? Large complex with a huge outdoor patio etc.. Easy acess to the highway.

Dave,
I've traveled Willow between 294 and almost the Edens every day since 79 and I'm trying to think of the place you're referring to? The only bar I know is on the south side of Willow just east of Shermer I believe called "Brothers two". I've never seen a outside patio unless it out back and can't be seen from the road. I sure don't mind where we meet but one thing that's tough is if the music is so loud we can't carry on a decent conversation.

Chris,
Are you driving our taking the train?

Outside patio huh! I seem to remember you complaining half the evening at the Glenview House because their patio was locked and you couldn't have one of your stogies!!!

Another vote for Mid week December. And another vote for another location closer to 294. I'd do the Brat stop, although it's a bit north of me. The Shaumburg Hooter's seemed to work out OK the last time we did it. We could also go to a bar in *cough* Libertyville- right off the tollway.

Pete,
The place is called "Pin Stripes". Huge place that has a heat outdoor area where they have bocce ball courts. It's a log cabin type place. It's right off the highway on Willow , just East of 294 by a 1/4 mile. Easy for everyone to get to..

OK, how about this Wed or Thusday for the Bears Game !!!??

Dave,
Yup!! It's new within the last year. Forgot about it. I guess I'm not as versed with all the watering holes like I used to be. Sounds like a good spot. I'm still in. If CQ is coming out by train, he can get off at the Glenview north station and someone can pick him up.

Pinstripes is between Waukegan and Shermer off Willow (north side)

Anyone coming from the north down 294 may want to consider taking the Edens spur (94) and getting off at Waukegan south. 6 of one, half dozen of another but finding it may be easier. You'll be west bound on Willow so you'll be on the same side of the street as Pinstripes.

Don't know Steve, never been. I'll try and find out more about it. I just know it's a hell of a lot easier to get to than The Glenview House for many of you..

I just found out this week is no good. Next week should be fine though. How about Wednesday next week, 12/17?

It seems setting a day always gets complicated! Ok, it was Friday but now it's been suggested Wed. or Thur. Or, next week? I'm very flexible up until the week of Christmas through till after Jan. 4th. (I'll be up north)

I hate to leave anyone out so we need some input.

Next week is certainly "better" than this one, location change is good with me as long as they have "FOOD". Don't think I'd be able to go much further north though during the week.

Since we're so spread out, there really is no good location for any one individual. Each could pic a realitively easy place to get to near their perspective area, or we could agree on one central location like around Ohare?? Plenty of places there.. We'll meet next Wed Dec 17th

Mojo,

Weds never works for me, how about a Thursday?

BTW, near a North Central or Northwest train station works great for me!
