Ok I have almost the whole floor out with 6 bags of soggy foam.
What is everyone using to cut the flooring at the stern of the boat? I have a 92ski and with the sloping stern it makes it very tight in the area behind the gas tank. |

Yes. Most of the rot was in the area of the drivers seat and observers seat. Both of the sub stringers a totally gone, the main stringers are rotted about half way through just in the area of the pylon. I will try and add some pictures.

Paul, What have you been using in other areas? A small (4&1/2") right angle grinder is handy to get into tight spots. In extream tight spots like corners, a die grinder (Dremel) will get in almost to the corner. You can put a friction cut off blade on ether. Several here have been using the diamond cut offs and are impressed. |

Pete,
I just found my die grinder in the back of my toolbox. This will work perfect. I have been using a 4 1/2 grinder with a metal cut-off blade. It seems to work really nice with very little dust. Paul |

AAAAH, Well lets open up a can of worms here,
Foam or NO Foam? That is the Question. |
