I think this must be an initiation for newbie inboarders:
We drifted over the ski line last night (thank God the engine was off) & the line got tangled in the prop. It must have been spinning from coasting as it was wrapped up pretty good. Took about 5 dives to get it loose. I would hate to do this if it was wrapped super tight. I have a knife onboard just for this reason. If you haven't had the pleasure of doing this yet, you're in for a treat! |

You gotta get your boat crew up to speed and have them stay on top of that stuff.....ask me how I know.
Seriously though, after a couple of trips your regulars(kids) will know what to do to make things go smoothly and it gets better. You should see us pack the boat up at the ramp, spray, wipe, tie down, unload, like a well oiled machine. |

Not to worry Chris...everyone has done it. Alan is right..best way to avoid this is to instruct your crew. I had not got a line in a long while but a couple weeks ago I took out some kids from a youth group to do some tubing (sorry Pete) and I got the rope. Forgot how much a crew that helps you watch stuff is worth.
