Im not sure what u call it but the plate that bolts to the flywheel.Could this this cause slippage mine appears to be busted.Thanks Zach

Zach,
You're correct that it's not a pressure plate because you don't have a clutch. It's a dampner plate. I doubt it's the cause of your trans slipping but still a good idea to change out. If all the springs were busted out or the splines in the output hub were gone then you wouldn't get anything into the trans. What trans do you have? |

Here's the Sach's plate for the Velvet drive. It's the trans input shaft spline that is key to the correct plate. You'll notice there are 7 different hole patterns for bolting up to almost any engine's flywheel. And here's a source merequipment |
