Hopefully someone here can tell me what Im looking at. My sister bought this PCM 1:1 transmission to drop into her Mustang. It had been sitting on someone's shelf for a few years, but it is brand new. I am not sure what I am looking at on the output shaft end. Obviously it is missing the output coupler. Do I simply buy one and bolt it on somehow? Or am I missing more than that? What do I need to do to be able to drop it in place of the outgoing Velvet Drive? I will probably need a little help making sure it is indexed properly as well.
A phone call to Eric is probably in order, but a picture is worth a thousand words. |

Tim, you are going to need a few more parts , appears your missing the rear bearing carrier too.New parts will be pricey, used should work just fine. A call to Eric is in order....Nothing is that simple...

well now, you could build a v-drive boat......sitting in someones garage for a reason.
you have a transmission that accepts a Walters v-drive.....but, you'll need a output shaft and coupling which are available for 2 easy payments of 29.95 and 14.95 shipping. I think the case we'll be fine with the 6 bolt holes if not i can come up with a case also. call me monday |
