If everything goes well will be finally starting to put some parts back in the boat this week. Is there a better water separator than the fram long filter, or is there a better way to mount it than lagging it to the new stringers. It has been a lot of work this far and really do not want to put any more holes than I have to in the stringers.
Thanks Mike

I forget which boat you have...

I bolted a Racor on the back of the engine cradle cross member(where the pylon clamps in). It would be perfect except that racor replacements are pricey. The fix for that is a wix.

Thanks,
Exactly what I was thinking, The boat is an 86, It looks like you put the carpet in before the motor. That would make it much easier.
Thanks mike.
