Suppose you either have a GT-40 or an Excalibur, pics are an Excal. Not sure if a GT-40 is plumbed the same.

I have an apex. In the first pic I have the line coming from the motor water pump connected. Then in the second picture, is that it coming from the top of the intake manifold(red hose)?

Yes on the red hose at the intake manifold.
Ordered with a heater so I would assume it was a factory install. |

It looks like I just have a temp sensor located in that connection where that hose connects on the manifold and also another sensor at 90 degrees from that on the front of the manifold. Do I need to install a tee fitting there to still use the sensor location? I would assume that one sensor is for guage and the other is for the efi system, one has a green wire and the other has a white wire. Is there another port that I am missing? They just put a new engine in this boat before I bought it and I wonder if they just didn't put the correct fitting back in. The one on top has a fuel rail over it and I think it might be difficult to add a tee.

I'd sure go back to whoever put the engine in and ask them why the job was not completed! Why the new engine?

Well I didn't have the motor installed the consignment dealer did. So this was done right before I bought it and the heater core was disconnected due to being busted. They probably didn't worry about the fitting because of this. As to why the motor was replaced, I don't know why, they didn't tell me but I would assume because it is a gm motor:)

I take it you don't like GM engines! If that is the case, why did you buy it? Do you plans call for another engine that isn't a GM? |

I bought it sight unseen and was told it had a gt40. Just like I was told alot of other things that weren't true. But it is a brand new motor and it does run great.
