What is the best sealant to use when mounting replacement pitot clam shells, pitot pickups, platform brackets and exhaust flanges? If my platform brackets where never removed and resealed, It appears that the CC factory used a clear rubbery sealant about 1/16" thick. Can you purchase pre-cut gaskets for these items or items like the through hull bilge port on the forward starboard side, the anchor light mount, the bow nav light, or the fuel tank vent port on the upper right stern? Thank you!

Tim,
I'm sure you meant to say Life-Calk?
I agree that the Life-Calk isn't bad but it being a polysulfide, I feel it's harder to work with. It's messier and harder to clean off plus I don't feel it's adhesion is very good. Also, a primer must be used on certain materials.
