I changed one of my speedos to a GPS unit, so I removed the pitot for it. It had been hacked on at some point. This doesn’t have to be super graceful. I filled the pitot holes with marine tex. Should I do the same for the tube? It’s much bigger so I’m not sure if it will fill.

For some reason there are no options in my post to add a picture.

If you're filling the 3 screw holes with marine tex, why not use the marine tex to fill the hole where the tubing passes through the transom ?

It'll fill that hole
