Last time I took her out I had to limp home at idle speed after an hour of fun due to the tranny slipping under load. I'm going to check the obvious but the question lingers in my head...if I have to rebuild who do I send the tranny off to that can rebuild it to handle the 393 stroker? or does someone sell a kit with high performance clutches to handle more than stock?
Any help appreciated... ![]() ![]() |

Go with the bronze and steel clutch plates.

If you call the number below and talk to Joe he should be able to answer all your questions and rebuild it too if you want a shop to do it. He has some beefy clutch plates too He's even in the same state, maybe he's like right around the corner ![]()
