Sanity-
Please tell your wakeboarding/sky ski friends to never do this again. This is a quick act to achieve death. |

Tim,
I appreciate your concern, but I have learned through the process of planning and organizing any event, you can't make everyone happy all the time. Most of these guys are professionals and they will complete every stunt as safely as possible. I'm sure the Wright Brothers had tons of concerned citizens too. So...........if anyone wants to see more of the ski show pictures, Kyle has over 100 posted on his site Bridgewater BC River Regatta Ski Show Sanity |

Wow, What a setting for an event like that. Looks like a great waterfront.
I'd be up for a caravan to Beaver County next year gang. Just a days drive, we could pick up a pretty big crew along the way in Indiana and ohio. |

Hi Alan,
It is beautiful. The Beaver River is no wake, till the regatta. We have the race boats, the ski show, so many different water events that both sides of the river can view. There are docks on both sides, a few wonderful restaurant/bars, a regatta pavilion, bleachers... It takes an entire year of planning and prep and on Sunday night of the regatta, it always hits me. The boats are tied up in many rows almost the entire width of the river for the fireworks and closing shows. That's the first time all weekend I usually get to sit and soak it all in. To be involved in planning an event such as this and to see all of the people lined along shore, in their boats, everywhere, my kids smiling from ear to ear....WOW! I take it all to heart and thank God for letting me be a part of it. Alan, we would love to have ccfan members there. That would be beyond awesome! Let me know ahead of time and I'll reserve all the dock space. Sanity |
