Dennis,
Yes it will but try brushing it first. You really shouldn't need to reduce. Reduction for brushing is typical when it's real hot and dry out to maintain a wet edge on a really large area.

Engine clearence ? 1988 351 factory stock

Does anyone know the clearence from the top of the air cleaner on the engine and the motor cover ?

I would like to install a Edelbrock 2181 intake to improve performance and flash up the engine some.

I know the 2181 is a bit taller, however the stock intake had 2 spacers under the carburetor raising it somewhat.

Just looking for anyone who may have done this change ?? or coments from those who know ??

Thanks

Dennis
