Key,
That same wheel was used on quite a few other year models. Keep your eyes open. One will show up. |

Is there any after market steering wheels that would fit?

There are a ton of aftermarket wheels that would fit. CC used Teleflex Big-T rotary helms, which featured a (very) common 3/4" tapered, keyed shaft.
I think the original poster is trying to find an original wheel, though. They can be tough to find- the center cap and bezel seem to pit and corrode fairly easily, so finding nice used parts is somewhat difficult. |

IMP boats used the same wheel. However some are splined some are keyed.
Marine salvage yards are usually full of IMP's |

Gary, are you talking about the ones that BJ fabbed up? I inquired once and he didnt make any extras. He was going to find out what it would cost to make more but I never heard back (though I didnt follow up)... but it didnt sound cheap! |

This is the one I replaced, the new one is part # 10830 from N3 Boatworks and last year when I bought it,it was $10. I think it was Alan (81 nautique) who told me to check with them after I had asked about rechroming the one below.10 bucks would not even cover shipping to rechrome!

Wow, no fooling Gary. Its not listed on their website- I bet they'd sell a lot of them if they were advertised! Its one part I never thought to ask about.
