So I'm in the planning stages of my re-power for this fall/winter. I've taken delivery of a brand new 454 crusader and I'm deciding what to do with the gear. This engine has the 8degree down angled gear on it, which I'm not dead set on using, but standard logic leans towards using this gear. With the ridiculous angle these motors are at from the factory I feel any way to level them off will help greatly.
Anyone running one of these gears or had any issues trying to in the past? |

I have a 1.23 to 1 trans in my 89 w351 the engine sits perfectly level . The trans makes up the prop angle.
