is there a washer between the castle nut and the prop? Any reccomendations to order parts online?

No washers. Some use a nut with a nylon ring that actually locks the nut onto the shaft. Some have the old castle nut that require a cotter pin to lock the nut in place. You can get parts at SKIDIM. Pretty good source.

make sure you get a stainless steel cotter pin and a stanless steel key if your ordering these parts. As regular steel one will rust. Know some that had the prop fall off because they didn't use a stainless cotter.
