you know where lock 3 is? its right across the street. Or if you know the akron civic theatre and the aeros stadium it is right in between them but on the opposite side of the street. They dont have a large street presence just a small red awning. Is anyone going to wear a red carnation?

I looked at the Chicago Beers thread the other day and thought to myself, wouldn't it be cool to have simultaneous beer events with the Chicago crowd and set up a call or even a video link between the two. well, they had theirs yesterday so I guess we missed that opportunity.

When and where? I'm pretty much open the rest of the week and don't have anything going on next week that I can think of.

I thought about that Justin, but felt it may be a little too far for Adam. I have been wanting to check that place out!

I threw out all the subtle hints but nobody caught them, as of today i will be an employee of Fantastic Finishes, after 11 years we've found a suitable buyer and it will still be business as usual, Ive never punched a time clock in 48 years, but, i cant forsee the future so, I do have an obligation to the new owner and he will continue under my guidance to rebuild transmissions and warranty them, for him to be successful he will hold to the same pricing and warranties, I have sat down with the new owner and he is very focused and appears to be very service oriented, he is a family man and wants to succeed, as i said, i will be advising him during the transition and will make sure he adheres to the standards as i did over the years.
I will surely still be a part of this site for many years to come because i have many, many friends here, this is a daily routine that i have grown with and will continue to do so, its not the end for me but a new begining, I wish the new owner to prosper and hope you guys will follow, its hard to decipher a name and a business but FFI was me and still will be me with the knowledge that i will be passing along. my furture? i dont know yet, i have many options.
